I believe that small dollar donations are important because they help restore legitimacy, accountability, and public trust in politics.

When political funding is concentrated it becomes opaque and policy is shaped primarily by corporations, oligarchs, lobbying groups, or hidden financial networks.

Small-dollar donations allow ordinary individuals to collectively support public initiatives, or candidates without relying on powerful donors.

A movement funded by thousands or millions of modest contributions demonstrates broad public support for the candidate or initiative.

This transparency is critical because it allows society to distinguish between genuine grassroots legitimacy and artificially manufactured influence.

This is why we are enabling a system for peer to peer donations on #Forum Online.
