So as you may have noticed Forum Online has been having some issues with service availability. This is due to a) censorship by the authorities in Ukraine and b) DDOS attacks on our infrastructure, which are also likely perpetrated by state sponsored actors.

Unfortunately, we exist in a sad reality where most governments around the world do not represent the interests of their people and actively combat freedom of speech online. Therefore, in order to facilitate an effective online resistance movement we must view government censorship as one of the main challenges to overcome when building #Forum.

Our near terms plan is to integrate dynamic proxies into the Forum Online app and create endless rotating mirrors for forum.online which we will regularly publish in our social media and introduce state of the art DDOS attack prevention measures.

In the long term, the only viable solution will be to decentralise all of our infrastructure as much as possible. More on this soon..
